Getting Started
Welcome to Remo WhatsApp Manager. This section walks you through everything you need to connect your WhatsApp number and get your bot running.
What You'll Need
Before setting up your account, make sure you have the following ready:
- A WhatsApp phone number that will be used by the bot
- Access to your Remo dashboard (provided by your account manager)
- Your business content ready to upload: product listings, images, PDF brochures, and office locations (optional, but strongly recommended for best results)
Choosing Your WhatsApp Connection
Remo supports two ways to connect your WhatsApp number:
Option 1 — WAHA (QR Code Scan)
The quickest way to get started. You scan a QR code with your existing WhatsApp account, and the bot is live in minutes. No technical approvals needed, no waiting period.
Best for: Businesses that want to start immediately and prefer simplicity.
Option 2 — WhatsApp Business API (Meta)
The official enterprise-grade connection provided by Meta (the company behind WhatsApp). This requires a formal application and business verification through Meta's platform.
Best for: Businesses planning to send broadcast messages to large contact lists or needing the official Meta-verified badge on their number.
If you're unsure, start with WAHA. It's faster to set up and works well for most businesses. You can always migrate to the Meta API later if your needs grow.
